SONG
In cloud cuckoo land,
people understand
how to live in peace.
Wonders never cease.
In cloud cuckoo land,
people lend a hand.
Life is always grand
in cloud cuckoo land.
But in this other land,
on the other hand,
people fuss and fight
and do nothing right.
Things don’t go as planned
in this real land.
My ideal land
is cloud cuckoo land.
If this puny universe,
the one in which we stand,
sits inside a multiverse,
let your mind expand
and the universe will burst:
your wish is its command.
Now here comes the final verse
of cloud cuckoo land,
where we understand
that reality
is imaginary.
So come fly with me,
in the sky with me,
and, like a cuckoo, land
in cloud cuckoo land.
